“ It was very crowded as we stopped in around 12:40, but I can understand why. I had a Bleu Cheese Bacon Burger and the flavors were spectacular while my husband enjoyed the very juicy Mushroom Swiss Burger and a thick chocolate shake. We shared an order of Sweet Potato Fries which was yummy and more than enough! We'll definitely be back next time we drive over the Pass! ”

“ If you are in Bridgeport and want to eat some good grub, you have to stop at Burger Barn. Everything they make is really good. I highly recommend the carne asada nachos or the carne asada fries! They are realllllly good. Great shakes, great burgers, great everything. The line might be a bit long, and you might have to wait a while...but look at that freaking view of the Bridgeport Valley and the Sawtooth Range out there. They do take some time as every order is made fresh. Nothing is pre-cooked and sitting under a heat lamp. ”

“ This is a go-to place for when you're starving and tired from hours of driving. Having had my fair share of different burger joints, this place makes the top 5. The modest and unassuming atmosphere makes The Barn quite a charming joint. Our party of three tried an assortment of cheeseburgers: the 1/4 lb, double bacon, and guacamole bacon. For sides, we ordered both the zucchini and sweet potato fries. Everyone enjoyed their meal and was left feeling satisfied. On top of that, the owner, who was taking our order at the window, was inviting and knew how to make every customer leave with a smile. Great stop for lunch. Can't wait to be back on our next road trip! ”

“ Not gonna lie, I was a bit disappointed by the bison burger, especially after seeing too many cows on our way to this place and dreaming about fresh yummy juicy meat for burger. I'd say if you're hungry definitely make it double because the single burger was pretty thin. Didn't want to be unfair and give a 3! People were friendly and service was good, it was just the burger that didn't hit me well! ”

“ YUM! not just a place to eat because you're absolutely starving either, it's actually REALLY good! Been here twice,, once on the way to Reno and then on the way back from Reno. Service is great, people are small town friendly, love that! Food is very fresh and you get pretty big servings, enough to share. Burgers are great, many choices including Bison and again, large enough to share. Sweet potato fries are so darn good, actually taste like sweet potatoes and not thin, burnt grease strips. Milkshakes are good, from what I hear and there's a lot of different and interesting flavors to choose from. Beans and rice are great, homemade tasting with lots of flavor. Stop by while you're out traveling the area, it's a little gem for sure. ”

“ Perfect stop along our route from Mammoth back to Tahoe. Food was fresh and fast, service friendly! A great little hole in the wall place. Kids got burgers, I had a spicy chicken sandwich and hubby got a California burrito - best he said he's had in years. Fries could be salted more, and every table could use an umbrella (it was hot out!) but we'll be back. Yum! ”
